Joomla 3.2 Updates

So this weekend I decided to install Joomla 3.2 and take a look at what it looks like. I have to say the backend looks a lot nicer then previous Joomla versions, thanks in part to Bootstrap 2. I was surprised when I tried to install XGallery and it actually installed. However, that was about it. Nothing else, accept categories appeared.

This prompted me to find out why and in the end, I ended up updating this component for this version of Joomla. I'm a little sketchy about having to add Legacy after each class name for the Model, View and Controller files. It makes me wonder if at a later date they plan to remove this or if this would be permanent. I couldn't find any information on if this was the correct way to do it besides Joomla's brief documentation on this subject and looking at their core components. Documentation for developers on Joomla 3.2 is brief. I assume they expect you to use the documentation for Joomla 2.5. Methods have disappeared with reasons found mostly from looking at forums and people trying to understand the Joomla teams reasoning's. In any case I've been able to get the Main page and Category page to show up along with the Collections page, sort of. But updating XGallery to Joomla 3.2 so far has not been as difficult as I thought. One concern I have though is if they decide to upgrade Bootstrap 2 to Bootstrap 3, I will need to go in and change all of the class names and maybe some functionality. I guess we'll have to see how things go.
